Reuniting dancers Kuldip Singh-Barmi (CandoCo, Kompany Malakhi) and David Toole (CandoCo, DV8) this film is a rhythmic tangle of movement that tumbles through contrast outdoor landscapes with playful intimacy. Fast edits of slick movement and oblique angles of teetering suspensions create a textural collage that draws on the tension between two men trying to find a balance. The soundtrack is built from rich, live sound and composer Eduardo Miranda’s distinctive urban flavours. A directorial debut for Sue Smith.
