FUTRURIST LIFE REDUX

Futurist Life Redux is a 45 minute curated film programme, curated by Lana Wilson, Performa and Andrew Lampert, Anthology Film
\nArchives. The film programme was commissioned by SFMOMA,
\nPerforma and Portland Green Cultural Projects for Perform09 \u2013 the
\nPerforma biennial.<\/span><\/p>\n

A group of contemporary film and video artists were invited to create
\ntheir own versions of the original segments in Vita Futurista, 1916,
\nthe only official Futurist film, created by a committee of Futurists,
\nwhich has since disappeared. <\/span><\/p>\n

The participating artists in Futurist Life Redux are:
\nchameckilerner (Rosane Chamecki, Andrea Lerner with Phil Harder), Aida Ruilova, Lynn Hershman Leeson, Michael Smith with Bill Haddad, Shannon Plumb, George Kuchar, Shana Moulton, Ben Coonley, Trisha Baga, Matthew Silver and Shoval Zohar (The Future), Martha Colburn<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
